Magna Charta Universitatum

On 30 August, 2017 in Pecs (Hungary) an important event for the Academy took place. As part of 650th anniversary of Pecs University, NMAPE joined the Great Charter of Universities (Magna Charta Universitatum www.magna-charta.org). The document was signed by 388 rectors and heads of universities from all over Europe and beyond on 18 September 1988, the 900th anniversary of the University of Bologna.

University of Oxford scientists have developed a new method for 3D-printing laboratory-grown cells to form living structures. The new method enables the production of complex tissues and cartilage that can potentially support, repair or augment diseased and damaged areas of the body.

June 10, 2017 there was an important event for the dental community at the premises of Dental Practical and Training Medical Centre (DPTMC) of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education with the involvement of leading professionals and administration of the Institute of Dentistry of NMAPE.

There was held an Open Day for university graduates in Dentistry.

DPTMC warmly welcomed leading experts in modern dentistry and graduates interested in future profession. The programme was interesting and intensive. Everybody had an opportunity to become familiar with the features of scientific work of each department of the Institute of Dentistry and clinical work of DPTMC.

This world-wide forum annually summarizes and defines the main future trends and prospects for further development of innovations in laparoscopic and endoscopic surgery.

May 18, 2017 there was held the meeting of the Ukrainian Youth Movement of Family Doctors as part of international research-to-practice conference “Issues of Importance of Family Medicine and Prospects of its Development in the context of World Family Doctor Day”. The moderators were the Director of the Institute of Family Medicine, Full Professor O. Shekera and resident physician, head of student self-governance of the Institute of Family Medicine
Ya. Sadovnik. After the opening speech of the Director of the Institute, there were presented scientific achievements of resident physicians of the Department of Family Medicine
(Ya. Sadovnik, D. Kekukh, O. Haiova, O. Horishnia), resident physicians and postgraduate students of the Department of Family Medicine and Outpatient Care (N. Hryb, S. Zinchuk,
M. Panasenko, Kh. Kukharchuk), as well as resident physicians of the Department of Neurology and Reflexotherapy (O. Fedash-Kirsanov, V. Svystun). There was presented a variety of topics ranging from general information about the Youth Movement of Family Doctors to neurological issues, such as ischemic stroke in the practice of family doctors.
