Information on conducting cycles at the Department of Ophthalmology for the quarantine period

Dear colleagues,

in 2021 for the period of quarantine the department of ophthalmology conducts distance learning.

The Department of Ophthalmology expresses its respect and informs that the department has established educational and medical processes on the basis of 8 medical institutions.

The main medical base of the Department of Ophthalmology is the Universal Clinic "Oberig". 

Registration of listeners for all cycles is at:

If you want to study and you are a doctor of a budget institution, you need to issue a ticket for the cycle - for this purpose it is necessary to prepare the petition of the established sample (sample petition). Petition from the chief physician where you work, addressed to the rector, Academician Y.V. Voronenko, here you need to specify the name of the cycle, dates of, name of the doctor and his position. The completed application should be sent to the cycle curator at the Nova Poshta branch with the whole package of documents for registration for the cycle.

For doctors of budgetary institutions the ticket to cycles is provided free of charge.

If you work in a private institution - you must personally enter into an agreement with the academy (sample on the website of the academy). You must pay for the tuition, issue a voucher and send a copy of the receipt with the entire package of documents for registration to the cycle curator at the Nova Poshta branch. 

To register for the cycle, you must prepare documents:

1. A copy of a diploma of higher education (medical university).
2. A copy of the diploma of specialty (internship or specialization).
3. Voucher-original (with two seals from the medical institution and the academy, in case of receiving a budget voucher).
4. A copy of the marriage certificate (in case of change of surname).
5. Original business trip (if necessary).
6. Completed technological card and questionnaires.
7. To register for the cycles of specialization and internship, you must additionally provide a copy of the employment record book and photo 3x4, 2 pcs. 

To register for the cycle, you must appear in person on the first day of registration at the department (Universal Clinic "Oberig", Building G, 5th floor, room 533), following the quarantine conditions.

You can also register for the cycle remotely.

The package of documents must be sent at the Nova Poshta branch to the curator of the cycle. You need to provide your contact mobile phone number, e-mail for correspondence and the number of the Nova Poshta branch for feedback.

All teaching materials in the form of lectures, seminars and workshops, work plan, list of questions for credit and a list of recommended reading will be available online.

During the quarantine period, the department conducts lectures, seminars and practical classes in online format using the individual departmental platform Zoom.

All study materials for classes according to the curriculum (presentations, test tasks, reference material) are sent to each student personally to his e-mail.

Tests on cycles will be held remotely.

In case of passing cycles of specialization, internship, traineeship, you will need to appear in the ACS of the academy to pass the computer exam in the specialty according to the schedule.

At the end of the cycle, each student will be issued a standard certificate, the original of which can be picked up in person at the department or (if desired) obtained at the Nova Poshta branch.
