Igor M. Yachnyk MD, PhD, Associate Professor
Yachnyk Igor Mykolaiovych studied at the Kyiv Medical Institute of the Ukrainian Association of Traditional Medicine and graduated from it in 2004 on the specialty "Medical Practice". After passing internship he received a specialty "Pediatric Anesthesiology", after which he worked in the department of intensive care of the National Children’s Specialized Hospital "OKHMATDYT" in Kyiv.
In 2009-2011, studied in the clinical residency of pediatric anesthesiology, after which he entered the postgraduate course in pediatric anesthesiology and in 2016 defended his dissertation on the degree of PhD "Early diagnosis of organ failure in children with septic complications."Since 2016 he has been working as an assistant of the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L. Shupyk, combining scientific and pedagogical activity with the work of the doctor of the intensive care department "OKHMATDYT". I.M. Yachnyk is the author of 12 scientific papers. Scientific interests - infusion therapy, clinical nutrition, treatment and diagnosis of sepsis, immunogram and antibiotic therapy, anesthesia.
Iryna V. Kyselova, Assistant Professor
In 1994 graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Medical Institute, the Pediatric Faculty. Internship in the specialty "Children's Anesthesiology" in 1994-1997. After the internship, she worked for 7 years as an anesthetist in a district hospital, and from 2003 - at the Kyiv Children's Clinical Hospital # 1. Works as a lecturer at the department since 2013. The author and co-author of 15 scientific publications. At the present time, she is working on a dissertation work for obtaining a scientific degree of a candidate of medical sciences.A range of scientific interests: anesthesiology of childhood, anesthetic support for patients with severe and rare concomitant pathology, anesthetic support for orthopedic surgery, adaptation of the fast-track surgery program in children, complications of anesthesia and their prevention and treatment in children. Liudmyla D. Tantsiura, MD, PhD, Associate Professor
Studied at the Pediatric Faculty of the Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy and in 1988, after passing internship, she obtained the specialty "Neonatology". The next two years she studied at clinical residency in neonatology. In 2000, she was specializing in children's anesthesiology. Worked at the neonatal intensive care units in Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv.
In 2011, she defended the dissertation for the grant of degree of PhD entitled "Individualization of the selection of positive end expiratory pressure during mechanical ventilation in newborns". At the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care she works since 2010 - initially as an assistant, and from 2016 she is an associate professor.
She is a curator of the Basic Department of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Kyiv Children's Clinical Hospital # 1.
Tantsiura Liudmyla is the author of 19 scientific articles in leading professional journals, co-author of the chapter "Urgent conditions in pediatrics" in the textbook "Medicine of urgent states". She co-authored with prof. Bilaiev A.V. a monograph entitled "Bronchopulmonary dysplasia in intensive care".
She has been repeatedly trained in leading foreign clinics:
- 2001, Perinatal Center of Warsaw (Poland);- 2007, Open Medical Institute lectures, Salzburg (Austria);
- 2010, a participant in the program of the French-Ukrainian exchange of specialists in the field of health and pharmacy, Paris (France).

Scientific interests - anaesthesia and intensive care in newborns, mechanical ventilation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, post-cardiac arrest syndrome.
Tetiana H. Chukhrai, MD, PhD, Associate Professor
The total work experience after the graduation from the medical institute is 43 years, the work experience at the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L. Shupyk is 32 years. Graduated from the pediatric faculty of the Kyiv Medical Institute named after Academician O.O. Bohomolets in 1975 with honors in the field of pediatrics. The training at the medical institute was combined with work - in the first years a junior medical nurse in the department for the care of newborns and premature infants, from the fourth year to the end of training - a nurse in the somatic-hematological department of the Children's Clinical Hospital No. 14 in Kyiv (OKHMATDYT).
After graduating from internship in pediatrics until 1978, she worked as a pediatrician in an infectious-boxed department of the Children's Clinical Hospital No. 14; from 1978 to 1982, she was a head of the department of resuscitation at the same hospital (she pursued a specializing training in anesthesiology based on the Odessa Medical Institute).
In 1982-1984, studied at the clinical residency of anesthesiology at the O. Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery (Moscow). From 1984 to 1986, she worked as an anesthetist at the Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery in Kyiv. Since 1986 – a assistant of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation of the Kyiv State Institute of Physicians' Advanced Training.
With the establishment of the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care in 1988 - Assistant, later, from 2006 to present - Associate Professor of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department. She defended her thesis for a PhD in medical science degree in 1999 ("The role of the central peripheral temperature gradient as a criterion for compensation and prognosis of endotoxicosis in children"). She improved qualification in pedagogical skills in Moscow and Kyiv. Since 1988 Tetiana H. Chukhrai has a higher qualification category in the specialty "Pediatric Anesthesiology".
Author of more than 70 scientific works, co-author of manuals, textbooks and manuals ("Medicine of childhood" (a handbook), "Intensive therapy in pediatrics" (textbook), "Medicine of urgent states" (textbook), "Pediatrics" (national textbook).
The range of interests - infusion therapy in pediatrics, urinary support of children in critical conditions, intensive therapy of sepsis in children.
Maryna B. Dmytrieva, MD, PhD, Associate Professor
The total work experience since the graduation from the medical institute is 50 years, the work experience at the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L. Shupyk amounts at 35 years.Immediately after the finishing of the medical institute, a 9-month training on anesthesiology took place, after which she began to work as a doctor and anesthetist at the Kyiv City Hospital № 14 named after the October Revolution (now ‒ Oleksandrivskyi City Hospital). Since 1982 ‒ an assistant of the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation of the Kyiv State Institute of Advanced Training of the Doctors. Since the establishment of the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care in 1988, she has been an assistant, since 2000 till present time she has been an associate professor of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Department.She defended her thesis for the scientific degree of PhD in 1992 ("The effect of massive hemotransfusion on the respiratory function of the lungs").Improved qualification in pedagogical skills in Moscow and Kyiv, from computer science and professional activities - in Kyiv. Has a higher qualification category in the specialty "Pediatric Anesthesiology". For many years, she has been a member of the Certification Committee of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. She supervised two scientific master's theses.
Author of more than 100 scientific works, co-author of manuals and textbooks - "Medicine of childhood" (a handbook), "Intensive therapy in pediatrics" (textbook), "Medicine of urgent states" (textbook), "Pediatrics" (national textbook), author of one monograph.The range of interests ‒ anesthesia and intensive care of newborns, intensive care of severe respiratory failure in different age groups.Maryna Borysivna Dmytrieva was awarded the title "Excellence in Health Care".
Andrii V. Bilyayev MD, Dr. Sc., Full Professor
Bilyayev Andrii Viktorovych, was born in 1964, graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute named after Academician O.O. Bohomolets with honors in 1987. Later he studied in clinical residency at the Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimatology of Kyiv Medical Institute named after Academician O.O. Bohomolets. A PhD since 1992, doctor of medical sciences since 1999. He worked as an anesthesiologist and resuscitator in the Kyiv District Military Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, an anesthesiologist and resuscitation researcher in the City Scientific and Methodical Anticancer Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, assistant and later associate professor at the Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Disaster Medicine at the National Medical University named after Academician O.O. Bohomolets.
Since 2000, he has been working as a Professor, and since 2013, as Head of the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after P.L. Shupyk. A professor since 2004. More than 100 scientific works, 8 monographs, co-author of two textbooks and three national textbooks.
He prepared four candidates of medical sciences and one doctor of medical sciences in specialty 14.01.30 ‒ anesthesiology and intensive care.
A scope of professional and scientific interests ‒ hemostasis, clinical nutrition, mechanical ventilation, hemodynamics and shock, blood loss.
