- KyivCity Clinical Hospital № 9 includes5 full-time departments for 170 bedsand 5 polyclinics. On this basis, there is a City children's gastrointestinal center, a Сity children's center for treatment and preventionof the oral cavity mucous membrane and periodontal diseases and two rehabilitation departments.
- Kyiv Boyarka Children's Regional Hospital for 400 beds. A neonatal mobile team and diagnostic dispensary operate on the basis of the Kyiv Children's Regional Hospital.
- State institution "Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine".Department of diseases of the liver and digestive organs, Department of medical problems of a healthy child and premorbid conditions, Department of neonatology.
- PrivateMedical Center “Dobrobut”. The center has 2 outpatient clinics with a capacity of up to 400 visits per day, 2 full-time departments for 7 and 12 beds, equipped with modern diagnostic and therapeutic equipment.
The main clinical base of the Department is Kyiv City Clinical Hospital № 9.
From the initiative of the department and support of the UNICEF International Children's Fund, Ministry of Health of Ukraine and theShupyk NMAPE from 2010 the Clinic, Friendly to Youth operates on the base of the Kyiv City Clinical Hospital № 9. According to the order of the Kyiv City Medical Service, Kyiv City Clinical Hospital № 9 is the base hospital for the "Observatory of epidemiological surveillance of influenza".
In the last year a mathematical model of prediction of the development of Helicobacter infection in children has been introduced.
During 2010-2016 the agreements on cooperation with the State Institution "Institute of Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine" and the Medical Center "Dobrobut" were signed. Medical and diagnostic possibilities are expanded by cooperation with the "Kharkiv Specialized Medical Genetic Center" (Director, MD, ProfessorGrechaninaO.Ya.) and "Ukrainian Scientific Medical Center for Osteoporosis Problems" at the D.F. Chebotarev Institute of Gerontology (Director,MD, ProfessorV.V.Povoroznyuk).
The clinical and educational process is carried out using new forms, methods and achievements of medical science with the implementation into the health care institutions work. The staff of the Department actively cooperates with regional and Ukrainian Association of Pediatricians, the Ukrainian Association of Neonatologists, the Ukrainian Association of Pediatric Gastroenterologists and Nutritionists, the Ukrainian, European and World Association of Pancreatologists.
Head ofthe Department, ProfessorBeketova G.V. as a member of leading specialists of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine takes part in the implementation of the national project on the continuing education for pediatricians, general practitioners and various areas specialists inUkraine.
