The staff members developed and approved a degree course scheme in Nervous Diseases (14.01.15) for the full-time, full-time evening and part-time PhD students of the Academy at the meeting held a short time ago.

The degree course scheme for the PhD students, specialized in Nervous Diseases is a normative document, which defines the content of training and sets the requirements for the scope and level of professional competencies acquiring by the PhD candidates.

As part of the regular scientific discussions, there was held the department's meeting, wherein the staff members dealt with covering information concerning the latest various developments in neurology, released on the leading world neurological journals, in particular.

The textbook "The brainstem: the anatomic and physiological characteristics and clinical features of lesions" by professor Olena Tkachenko, head of the Department of Neurology No. 2, National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, came out for neurologists, interns and medical university students last week.

Within the two-term course students take the opportunity to gain the knowledge in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

The students are given the strategies and tips for better English speaking, step by step guide through the process of making a presentation from preparation to conclusions and questions, what to say in casual conversations with strangers or colleagues.

Annually, there are about 300 foreign nationals from 37 countries study at NMAPE.

A certificate training course “Training Staff Pool. Business English for Research & Teaching Staff” will soon be completed at the Department of Foreign Languages at NMAPE. This semester a group of 5 students have been undergoing training.
