According to the agreement between the Ministry of Health of Federal Republic of Germany and Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, there works Ukrainian-German partnership project “Ukraine – Children’s Health” aimed at improving medical help for children in Ukraine, increasing the level of educational component of paediatric service.
On the 9th of November, 2016 intermsoftheWorldSightDayand realization of global initiative for the elimination of avoidableblindness “Vision 2020: The Right to Sight”, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB) and World Health Organization (WHO), initiated by the Department of Ophthalmology of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education there was successfully held Screening for Glaucoma.
Success of medical institution is determined, first of all, by experience of the head. It was confirmed once again by organizers and participants of the International Forum Healthcare Management that was held on October 18-20, 2016 in the Exhibition Center KyivExpoPlaza.
On the 28th of October, 2016 there was held annual teleconference bridge “Day Care for the Elderly People: an Interdisciplinary Approach” (Ukraine – USA) in NMAPE as part of international scientific and practical conference “Present and Future Development of Family Medicine”.
In October 17-21, 2016 the WHO Regional Office for Europe and Ministry of Health of Ukraine held a training session involving staff members of the Institute of Family Medicine of NMAPE. It was aimed at improving prevention of noninfectious diseases, reducing morbidity of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes mellitus in Ukraine.
In October, 25-27 NMAPE took part in the VIII International Forum “Innovation in Modern Education – 2016” and IV International exhibition of foreign educational institutions “World Edu”.
